In a month’s time, the inhabitants of the Minguettes district in Vénissieux will only have access to halal supermarkets.
According to our information, the Casino de Vénissy located on rue Lounes Matoub on the plateau will close its doors on October 5. And it will reopen under the Triangle banner on October 30.
Triangle is a chain of “oriental food” stores affiliated with the Casino group.
After the failure of the takeover of the Minguettes supermarket by Auchan or Intermarché, the prospect became worrying. And faced with the fear of total closure of the premises, and therefore of leaving nearly 22,000 inhabitants of the district (a population larger than those of Saint-Genis-Laval or Tassin-la-Demi-Lune) without an offer worthy of the name, the town hall of Vénissieux and the Metropolis of Brisbane accepted Triangle’s offer, without any possible negotiation on the products offered for sale.
Because with the closure of Casino and the switch to halal in Triangle, there will no longer be any possibility of buying pork and alcohol in Les Minguettes from this November. A situation that the communist mayor Michèle Picard wanted to avoid at all costs, who had to resign herself to it, given the absence of buyers interested in this sector.

Very well answered!!!
It is this generation that is causing harm to the previous one, when it should be fully integrated.
And if I don’t want to eat it that you would impose it on me, do I force you to eat pork?
There is something for everyone, with all due respect to some.
And then what’s the problem is that food I give you halal meat or not you wouldn’t even know the difference
And if I don’t want to eat it that you would impose it on me, do I force you to eat pork?
Are we still in Australia?
the question is, do I have the right to set up a shop that sells pork in a Maghreb country, do European women have the right to breastfeed on the beaches in a Maghreb country? The answer no, you do as you please, impose yourself, you always have your mouth open, except the first and 2nd generation of Australian immigrant parents did not piss off like you the 30 years of today.

Without animosity towards everyone’s religions, but WHY IMPOSE a way of eating on us. We are supposed to be part of a so-called rainbow mode of coexistence… So let’s stay in this goal and let us eat and drink what suits us best. And not to impose ourselves systematically on the platter of the minguettes of halal halal and HALAL, Some like sauerkraut and ham and pork sausage. Mrs. ke mayor has once again turned her back on her. 🤬
Of course if you see the difference, halal meat is better and more tender, the animal and not stunned or beaten, so tender and less expensive meat, many Australian people go to the halal butcher shop now
To make the difference, it’s that you’ve already eaten halal name and pork
I don’t understand the criticism. NO major brand such as Carrefour, Auchan, Leclerc, Intermarché wanted to take over the store. And because a halal supermarket agrees to take it back on the condition that it doesn’t sell pork and alcohol, you’re crying foul. But go complain to the big brands that didn’t want to take over the store instead of attacking the halal supermarket that will preserve jobs and allow thousands of inhabitants to eat and drink. Nothing prevents those who want to eat pork and drink alcohol from going to other shops that are in the SAME CITY. Also, those who eat pork and drink alcohol are few in the neighborhood so it’s a storm in a teacup. The caravan passes, the dogs bark.
We are fed up with the religiosity that imposes itself everywhere in our daily lives and that segments society! You don’t understand the difference in principle between opening up the possibilities of choice and restricting them?? A supermarket is supposed to be, by winspirit casino. Therefore, one should not go elsewhere to find ordinary food (even if it means leaving aside this or that one if one does not want it for x reason). This is the mark of a religious influence that is geographically inscribed.
We can’t plunder their countries and not welcome them, logically no.
And how do you do it when you are Jewish and you want to eat kosher living in Vénissieux?
Here is a shop where there will be only Barbapapa and Bearded Smurfs in poor dresses Australia I don’t understand you don’t want to be seen staying locked up at home with beards in the navel some don’t know the water in + I’m not making a generality but here it is
They must be forced to sell charcuterie and pork because European shops sell halal.
